I have always been passionated for dogs and their training.
Unfortunally my mother was severely bitten by a dog when she was younger therefore dogs were always banned from the house.
Partially for fun and somewhat to help her overcome her fears in 2014 she gave me the ok to get my first dog, Dana.
No one at home had any idea how to take care of a puppy: that’s why I started attending a dog centre recommended by a friend.
Like most of you, my first course was a puppy class!
And from there, the spark went off !!!
With the desire to understand more and more how my puppy thought, I started competing in dog sports and attending courses, seminars, internships, and in the end, I became in 2015 an Enci Certified Dog Trainer (Italian Kennel Club) and a CSEN Certified Dog Educator (Italian Second Biggest Dog Club).
This path has led me to where I am now.
After several years of training, having had the opportunity to work in several dog centres, I felt the desire to create something completely mine.
In 2021, therefore, Blackwater Dog Training came to life, seeking to remain a dog centre of excellence in the pet and sporting dog world.
Today I actively compete with my dogs in various dog sports although my passion is the IGP.
For this reason, I became an official B Grade IGP Helper and a A Grade IGP Track Layer in Ireland,
under GSA Ireland and in 2024 I was also Team Leader of the group that participated in the WUSV German Shepherd World Championship in Meppen, Germany.

Section 1 for Utility, Companion, Agility e Sport Dogs.

- Orietta Zilli, referee al-round for morphology e canine mechanics
- Simone Teich, ENCI breeder for composition and structure
- Clemente Grosso, ENCI border member and referee of different dog disciplines for dogs’ ethology
